Happy Monday. Hopefully I can finish the job today before getting called away. ;-) Today we worked on percent increase and decrese problems. We solve them the same way as other percent problems, we just set them up differently.

THIS IS ALL THE FARTHER I GOT ON FRIDAY! SORRY!
I'm back! Thanks for joining me! We started a new geo project today. We had some technical issues, but we'll get that worked out. We are learning about different religions of Asia, all of which are represented in the United States. Unfortunately, they are all based on work righteousness, but we will dig deeper to see the other similarities and some differences. We tried to melt our brains today as we started conjugation of verbs and threw in more negatives into our math equations. I am glad to report that I saw no smoke coming out of any ears.

Welcome, welcome, welcome to another edition of These Are Your Child's Assignments! We figured out today that if our classroom represented population density, we'd have to add 160 students to represent India. WOW! On a less crowded note, we also found out the difference between a spring tide and a neap tide, and how high tides come about. (IF you are curious, this animated video does a nice job explaining it.) We finished off a math test, found out that we need a little more work on appositives, and started our last unit review for vocab.
