Happy Thursday! We spent a lot of time today being spacy. We went through our science projects and learned about some space missions past, present and future. We also had our dress rehearsal for the musical. Our math lesson wasn't too tough today. We put some pieces that we've done before together.

Happy Tuesday! Sorry about no blog yesterday, but I was working on a computer right after school and then had to run to the softball game. If it makes you feel any better, it was a good game! Today we got the moon and learned how to count to find the slope of a line.

Happy Friday to you! Happy Friday to you! and so on. Wow the weather has sure turned around! Hopefully that doesn't trick the students into thinking it is summer already! We took our math pre-test today, talked about the Koreas and learned a lot about the Gemini project.

It's really Thursday this time, right? Are you sure? OK, good. Can you believe i passed up the chance to say May the 4th be with you yesterday? Anyhow, we continued our study of Paul's missionary journeys today. We also did some more work on surface area. If you want to quiz your child, ask her what 4 pi r squared is for. We started an in-depth look of the early years of the space race.

By the way, I made an adjustment on the AR goals for this quarter. The program automatically adjusts the points based on how many days in the quarter. The longer the quarter, the more points are needed. However, this quarter, the points were up quite a bit, especially when you figure in that we want the points all done before that last week. So, I managed to get them down to back around what the first two quarters were.
