Well, well, well. So you are back again. Not too much to report. We worked on the play today in groups so we had some of the students out of the room most of the day. We worked on our projects and got those done (or so I am told). I did not see students taking advantage of the extra credit or working on AR. Remember that is due no later than Thursday 8:00 am. We got through a few more chapters of out literature novel and we also checked out invasive, poisonous toads in Australia, the Coral reef, and what it is like to try and work in Antarctica. We ended the day trying to talk about appositives, but it was hard to focus on that after our day of play rehearsal.

Today the theater company came and cast our play. We also started to learn parts. Tomorrow there will be some practices by groups. We also started a geography project to work on tomorrow when others are gone for the play. I also handed out some math extra credit for students to work on.

Happy rainy Thursday. I hope you stay dry! Today we looked at using one triangle to figure out the measurements of another triangle whose sides we don't know. We also started to dig into the book of Galatians. We spent quite a bit of time talking about radiometric dating and some of the problems that have been found with it. We also finished up our presentations from our research papers. We also are starting a new region of the world for geography.
