Today really was Friday. We had some more work time to finish our research papers and study guides for geo. We also practiced our songs for the Christmas service, had math and corrected our science study guide. We also took the spelling bee test today.

Math 38

It's only Thursday, it's only Thursday has been my mantra today. Don't know why it feels like Friday so much, but it is in fact, only Thursday.

We spent some time today working on our study guides, but we did many other things as well, We talked about how to use commas and punctuate dialogue correctly, (we didn't do too well with them on our narratives). We also spent a lot of time working through parables in Vocabulary Workshop. In math, we talked about how to find the area of a triangle and shapes that need to be broken down into several rectangles. To finish things off, we talked about foreshadowing!

Welcome to my 1,250th post! Today we finished looking at the war in Kosovo and some of the things that happened to Yugoslavia after the fall of the USSR. We also talked about ratio and sample space. We got some study guides and spent some time working on the research paper. Still lots to do!
