We had a lot of study time today. It was a good chance for me to answer lots and lots of questions. The rough drafts are handed in, but for all who did it electronically, they can keep working on them. Friday is the end of the quarter, so AR points need to be in by Friday. Should be a light night for homework, but it is a good chance to do corrections in math, or get a head start on memory work etc.

Happy Grandparents Day! We have more than doubled our population today. It's pretty awesome to see the Grands working with their Grandchildren. However, before we got to that awesome part of our day, we did do some work with fractions of a group. We also started talking about idioms, like "clean as a whistle".

Hey all. Grandparents' Day tomorrow! Rough drafts are due Monday! Monkeys are silly! A lot is due on Monday! Check out Gradelink! Sign up for parent teacher conferences! This is too many exclamatory sentences!
Now that I have your attention, we spent a lot of time working today. We did also learn about prime numbers and how to use them to find factors. We also reviewed how to make possessives and checked out a few short videos on Canada (and Miami for good measure.)

I totally missed the blog yesterday! Sorry about that. I got busy right away and forgot about it! Today, am right back with you. Today we took our math test. I am hoping to get that corrected tonight so we can see how we did. Our activity yesterday seemed to work well thanks to all the students watching the video ahead of time. That worked well. We started working on a large study guide for geography. We had enough time to work on it that some groups are just about done already. Good work! We continued to discuss currents in science. We learned that upwelling is vitally important to life in the ocean. We found Zero alive today! Yea! (Not in the ocean. I moved on to a new subject.)
