We had an artless Tuesday today. We made good use of the time to work on our Prezi's. I'd like to start presenting them next week Thursday, so the time was well spent working on them. It also gave the students a chance to ask some of those technical questions that sometimes come up. (I even learned something new! I love it when that happens.) We also worked on parallelograms as you can see below. The big thing to remember (this will come up with triangles as well) is that the height always has to make a 90-degree angle. Slanty sides are great to use for perimeter, but not area!
