A quick note about literature. I am asking the students to write their answers in complete sentences. Starting next week I will be marking answers wrong if the sentences are not complete. Many of the students are using fragments, but of more concern is the number of students who are not even using punctuation. Please remind your student to punctuate. If I had been marking them wrong this week, many of the students would have gotten much worse grades. Let's not let that happen.

Thanks

P.S. GO PACK!
Well, we made it through five days of school. Unfortantly we already have five late assignments as well. Use those assignment notebooks and check to make sure everything is done! Let's nip this in the bud!

Today we learned about some of Leonardo Da Vinci's many inventions and their impact on our world today. The link below will take you to the video if you want to see it. The log in name is student and the password is also student.

English: Using their note cards as a source, the students are to write an outline. The first outline is just transferring the information from the note cards onto a piece of paper in outline form. For the second outline they should be making sure the topics are not vague and are presented in parallel form. There is an example in the text book.

Today we took a turn learning about a famous composer. I am trying out some new sheets with information about the composers and some games to review musical information. Just a hint, pizzicato and timpani are some of the answers.

We are also looking at most likely having a science test on Monday.
Passages for memory treasures will be written tomorrow.

Any click orders should be handed in by Friday. Make any checks out to me please.
