Greetings once again. We finished watching The Hobbit  today. Quite a bit was omitted but it was entertaining none the less. The passive tense was also reviewed.

Sorry! This is all the farther I got yesterday when life intervened. It has a way of doing that you know.

Today we had the Fond du Lac Children's Chorale come and sing for us. They did a great job, especially that short blonde 7th grade girl! We also got ready for some tests tomorrow.

I new it was time to start literature when over half the class decided they needed to roll down the hill . . . . . . We did manage to finish the book however.

It is Thursday already. Today we visited the inner planets. Did you know that Venus gets to be around 1,000 degrees? Yikes. We though 80 yesterday was warm. We also also found out that Antarctica is really cold, but is still warmer than Mars or Mercury. We discovered that converting from mass to volume is a whole lot easier in the metric system. Bilbo and the dwarfs have found the treasure but lost he dragon. Oh no!
