Have yourself a merry little Wednesday. We looked at polygons today and learned the different names for the different shapes. We also had a guest speaker talk about how we can be more Christ-like in our interactions with one another. We started to discuss the economic regions of the US and Canada, but we ended up having to finish that on our own. We are also putting some things together in the plot of our novel.

We had a guest speaker today talking to us about being safe digitally. She reminded us that it can be pretty easy for people to trick us into giving away information we shouldn't. She also emphasized that once something is out there, it is out there forever and can have long reaching repercussions. We also played with protractors today. I looked over the outlines today. A lot of them seem to be lacking focus. I am looking for them to have a specific main thesis that they are trying to communicate and not just giving me random facts on a general topic. I wrote at length about that in the classroom handbook that was given out at orientation, is available on Google Classroom under general, and also in the back of the room. Please take a look at the progress your child is making, you may even learn something!

Hello my friends! Not much due tomorrow, but there is still plenty for your student to work on. We could use some work on our time management skills. We tend to like to do things as late as possible, which often means not getting it done on time.

Christian Friendship week this week. We talked about what it means to get along with people. We had a very tough time describing what that is.
