We put the finishing touches on our geo project today. We also did another MAPS test. We put the brakes on math and took a review day, which quickly turned into two days. We are working on problems from the last 8 sets and will finish up tomorrow. Come Monday we will work on set 99 (Pythagorean Theorem).

Joyous Wednesday to you. We took our language arts test for MAP tests today. We also worked on scale and scale factor. Our geo projects are wrapping up. I am interested to see what the students come up with. So far, their work has been pretty shallow. We are working at getting them to dig deep. (This project takes some grit!)

Memory: hymn 588 1,2,7,8 Some students must redo this hymn, others will have the option. Ask your student which category they are in.

Happy Friday. We took our math test today. The student's assignment is to make corrections on set 95. Our class average was not where we wanted it to be. We also got to see one of our 8th graders be baptized in chapel. That was very very cool. We also got to check out some space sights and explore the planets.

It was a very special Wednesday today since we had art class! We also talked about Jupiter and Saturn, the volume of a right solid, (which is kind of funny since Jupiter and Saturn aren't solid) and are finishing off our book for literature.

Enjoy the forgiveness that Jesus won for you! Let it motivate you to forgive others.

Art got moved to Wednesday this week. That gave us a chance to start our geography project. We have a pretty big and challenging project ahead of us. We also had a big and challenging English lesson. We added two more patterns and some new pronouns! In math we got to revisit probability with dependant events.

Have a great weekend as we celebrate the sacrifice and resurrection of our Lord. Image result for cross

We finished our math lesson from yesterday today. It was a good thing we had lots of time to work on it. We also went to South Africa and Mars. (Not at the same time.)
