Today we were back at it. The class seemed glad to see each other again as they had much news to share. I hope you all had as blessed a holiday as I did. Thank you for the wonderful gifts! I have used some of the gift cards already to purchase some rechargable batteries (you can immagine how many batteries we go though) and a new digital camera, (the one that had served us for around ten years got sat upon through an odd series of events).

Today we started a Rod Sterling play in literature. We also took a look at some of evolutionists ideas about the earth in Science. We went though all of chapter 13 today and will skim through chapter 14 tomorrow. I just want the students to get a basic grasp on some of these evolutionistic ideas and terms. There will be no test on either chapter.
